Alchemy/Magic:

Howl is a powerful wizard capable of [read: largely undefined] spells, charms, alchemy, and potion making (including, but not limited to: levitation, shapeshifting, limited control of another's movements, etc.). As opposed to fighting, he may use these abilities to slither out of confrontation.

Transformation:

Howl has the ability to transform into a large birdlike creature. In the rare events he may choose to use this ability, he relies on it to fly into action and fight, as well as escape from his enemies.
